Have You Noticed There's Too Much Talking In The World?

Have you noticed
there’s too much talking in the world?
 
What if we spoke
only after immersion into
frog song?
What if we spoke
only after absorbing the 
rhythm of oaks?
What if we spoke
only after drinking the
canyon crumbled scent of wildflowers
and red dust?
And what if we spoke
only after bathing in the 
cold currents of the mountain creek?
 
Perhaps a magnificent silence
would descend upon the world
 
And when we did speak,
our words would shimmer
with the gold pollen of 
mulberry trees,
with the midnight moan of
owl, 
with the gasping revelation 
of dreams
 
Imagine such a world!
