Status: Full-Time with Benefits
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
 
The Climate Center seeks a driven, high-performing team player with expertise in natural climate solutions, excellent project management abilities, proven partnership, and coalition building skills, as well as policy analysis and development experience to lead our Natural Carbon Sequestration Initiative. This initiative is a cornerstone of our collaborative Climate-Safe California <http://www.climatesafeca.org/> campaign, with the goal of equitably achieving net-negative emissions-- drawing down more past climate pollution from the atmosphere than we are emitting-- by 2030. 
 
The Natural Sequestration Initiative Manager  <https://theclimatecenter.bamboohr.com/jobs/view.php?id=28&source=aWQ9MTc=>(NSIM) will lead The Climate Center’s Natural Carbon Sequestration (NCS) Initiative, developing and building support for policies such as the Natural Carbon Sequestration and Resilience Act of 2022 <http://www.theclimatecenter.org/ab2649>, guiding relevant research and analysis, and, organizing and participating in coalitions around this work.
