Something
Gathers
Us
Like pleats
In a curtain
Or knots
Inside a weave
Organising us
Into understanding
Words
Like these
As they are gathered
Into a poem
So that they can dive
Inside your eyes
And lead you
To that which
Gathers
And you will see
That
It was never really us
Doing any of this
So when it comes
To things unravelling, unpleating
Or dissolving
Remember too
It's that something
That is
Gathers
Us
Still
