The Long Mountain Alive
 
 Pele is the earth-eating woman
 Goddess of the Sacred land
 She's eating Mana—Life
As she stirs it now anew
 
 Pele speaks to my treasured things
 The Eternity I've ever known
 Such I hold in deepest value
 She takes with her warm embrace
 
 Pele lives in my deepest dreams
 Stirring, slashing—Awakening
 Jealous for my lasting love
 She burns away all false desire
 
 Pele is born of fertility
 Alone she stoked her long canoe
 And gave birth to fire!
 Then danced hula like lava
