Solastalgia
a family gathers smiling
in this photo not yet sepia
someone not yet missing
a routine document
of ebb and flow
we had wax wings
a common metaphor
of earnest self-importance
grand and vague
yet melting near a cold star
in a solitary confinement of self
and far off country of dream
I think I keep seeing you
I see you everywhere
what is past remains past
my heart is on the outside
how can I be homesick
while being home
