Where does the magic 
reside

which towns
which hearts

sudden moves
around the corner

in time
beginning again
 
as in renewal 
dance step

intimacy 
this way the mountains 

folks surving a blizzard
officials must decide

how to share
the diminishing Colorado 

River waters
great danger 

everywhere
and yet

amethyst
crystals in the sun

the inclusion of shadow
with smoky quartz

you say chalcedony 
a gold light

surrounds you
surrounds us all

Jeri's brother Rocky
journeys on

in spirit -- 
in mind

we are freedom focused 
and continuing 

Suni talks of a belief
for grief and loss

for loved ones gone
true true

how to carry on 
I just feel

we're all together
here or there

close by
or Beyond

this is our world
visible and

invisible
loss and joy 

both lead us
magic is akin

to the pure realities
witnessing and dreaming 

I am made of darkness 
and light

you are made of light
and darkness

in the air
around this place

the richness of evergreens 
the changing years

our mysterious earth
the wild unknown
