Invitation to Oral Tradition Poetry Salon in Sebastopol September 9

Ladies and Gents,

You are being invited to an experimental practice of the oral tradition in the “Robinson Rd./Larry Robinson/Doug Van Koss tradition.”   In other words, you are invited to recite or do a very well versed reading of a poem(s)  or piece of prose that follows the initiating thread of the theme, “The Awakening.” 

Time and Date: September 9th, 4:00 PM to 6:00 (?)

Place: 7869 Washington Avenue, Sebastopol (off of Virginia Ave or off of Bodega Ave.)

Parking:  Diagonal parking available across the street and in the neighborhood

Please Bring if possible: a folding chair, though we do have about 10 chairs to offer in the yard.
 (No snacks or drinks other than your own water bottle at this time).

Protocol: masks not required due to being outside.

Personal Request or Suggestion: Focus on the oral tradition of transmission of needed themes, rather
 than performance of talent, skill. Being just a listener is accepted, but give this a try!
