Or Else
 
Nature called yesterday.
Left a message.  She hates
leaving messages for me.
And I 
 
can’t remember the
last time we spoke.
She’s been away visiting
our mother who is
 
getting old and thinks 
she can’t take it
much longer the way
fires and smog are
 
killing her.  Anyway, 
Nature’s message demanded
I stop driving so much,
and dammit send a get well
card to mom.
Or else.
