Words
Spoken softly
Words that roll off the tongue 
Like morning dew drops from a leaf

Careful words, kind words, loving words 
Words meant to be just as they are
Water meant to be just as it is
Falling, dropping, washing over the world

Delivered like rain
From the sky they fall
From the heart they swirl
From the tongue they drip

Calling to the clouds of humanity
To join the stream of love
Washing over all beings
Washing this world of bitter dust

Flowing as water does flow
To the sea transformed
To rise again
To be right as rain
