The subtle tones of sweetness
in the last autumn rose.
Undeserved.
 
The intense expansion of energy
brought by sudden inspiration.
Undeserved.
 
The surrendered weight of the tiny body
of my newborn grand-niece
as she is falling asleep in my arms.
Undeserved.
 
The eyes of a passerby locked with mine,
In acceptance to a few seconds of mysterious communion.
Undeserved.
 
The pulsating heartbeat of life within me
as the only reason for me being, still here.
Undeserved.
 
The yet another chance to start over,
to try again, to rise once more.
Undeserved.
