[Lawrence Robinson]

zz

That's it,
two zetas in miniscule script,
one curled around the other,
two distinct layers of rock
twisting in the same geologic fold,
two wing feathers
preened to lie 
in aerodynamically perfect parallel,
two palm trees
swaying together in one wind,
two strands of seaweed flowing
in the same tidal flow,
two doves riding
the same wind,
two spoons in a drawer,
two lovers
resting
to begin again.
