In the time of Orpheus still singing
In the time of Icarus still falling
In the time of Penelope still weaving
In the time of Persephone still languishing

in the time of the worst of times.
in the time of speak now or forever hold your tongue
because it will be taken from you.
in the time of our rights being done wrong.
in the time of asking is there somebody there?
		

In the time of no time left to waste.
In the time of the odds are against us.
		
Some are forgetting, but some are remembering.
some are denying, but some are saying enough.
some are in retreat.
some are in the streets, demanding.
some are assembling, being braver than they
believed they could be.
some turn away, but some turn toward the Way.
		
To save the world what will you do?
May the more loving ones and 
braver ones	
be us.
