It isn’t about


It isn’t about changing how you think.
It’s about stepping beyond
the you who thinks.

It isn’t a matter of finding your way.
It’s about losing the you 
that thinks it’s lost.

It has nothing to do 
with improving your life.
It’s realizing that when
you let go of having a life,
in favor of being life,
everything improves.

Nor does it involve having what you want,
or wanting what you have.
Rather it’s about being free 
of the you who wants.

It isn’t a process of finding
then stepping through
the right spiritual door.
It’s about opening to the truth
that you’ve never
been outside.
