Conspiracy Network 

If there is a conspiracy at work, 
then let me say thank you - 
to the web of life that holds the planet together, 
to the teachers who taught and fought for children who had nothing and were going nowhere, 
to the doctors and nurses who sewed and stitched shattered souls into whole and kept us alive, 
to the farmers who kept farming when crops withered 
and what was left could not be sold, 
to those who made love or had sex, hooked up,
or pleasured themselves or somebody else 
because the body aches
to be held and knows 
itself by touch, 
to whatever God you have or don’t, 
whatever faith you live by or don’t, 
to decency, to kindness, and to love, 
to the vast conspiracy of all of it, 
thank you.
