How do they sleep at night

Do they have nightmares
Do they feel any responsibility
Do they know what culpability means
Do they have children, grandchildren

So they punch a time clock somewhere
Maybe they work on the guidance system
Maybe they measure out the explosive
Maybe they are in the shipping department
Maybe they design the damn things

Maybe they are on the assembly line 
for the bombs and missiles and rockets

Maybe they work in the office 
Maybe they send out the bills 
Someone has to pay for the hardware
that kills, maims, wounds, injures, mutilates,
disables, scars and terrifies the world

Who pays the bills

How do they sleep at night
