Dakini Blood
It was midnight,
wind blowing the moon
into the room.
Suddenly awakened,
cool hands pulled me
from the bed. Moon
music filled the room,
a dream, yet
not all in my head.
Naked sky dancers
insisted I dance in
moonlight, would not
let go, I disappeared
into their song.
Walls fell away,
I could only see
windswept clouds in
moonlight, hear
their calls, cry
from being broken open.
That’s what
we do they laughed-
upset the apple cart!
Your boring face full of
insurance policies
and regrets
is a dead face, it’s a
grave face, it’s time for
blood like our blood,
moon blood, time to wake
up blood, time to
die blood, time to
dance out the no
door blood into the
moonlit wind,
roaring trees in the
wind blood.
