HI KIM, LAURIE, JEN,
THANKS FOR AN EXCELLENT WORKSHOP LAST WEEK. I AM RECHARGED !
I THOUGHT OF A POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY FOR NAPPC'S POSTER: THE 2006 IPM
SYMPOSIUM IS COMING UP IN APRIL 3-6 IN ST LOUIS, MO, AND IT WOULD BE GREAT
TO HAVE THE NAPPC POSTER THERE. I AM ATTENDING TO PRESENT A SESSION ON IPM
AND IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE ANOTHER NAPPC MEMBER THERE TO "MAN" THE
NAPPC BOOTH AND EDUCATE ABOUT POLLINATORS.
I LEFT TOM GREENE, EXHIBIT COORDINATOR, A MESSAGE TODAY TO SEE IF ANY
SPACES WERE AVAILABLE AND AM PRESENTLY WAITING FOR A CALLBACK. WOULD YOU
LIKE TO HAVE AN EXHIBIT SPACE FOR THE NAPPC POSTER?
LET ME KNOW. 202-513-7183
THANKS,
CAROL Forwarded by Carol DiSalvo/WASO/NPS on 10/24/2005 01:56 PM -----

The Fifth National IPM Symposium, "Delivering on a Promise," will be held
in St. Louis, MO on April 4-6, 2006 at the Adams Mark Hotel.
To save travel costs, take advantage of the opportunity to schedule
meetings for your group or organization before the symposium on Sunday,
April 2 or Monday, April 3 or after the symposium on April 6, 7, or 8.
Facilities have been reserved to accommodate such meetings.
Meeting rooms are also available in the evenings during the event for
informal conferences. For informal conferences we ask that you submit a
brief proposal along with your request that will be reviewed by the program
planning committee.
To reserve space for your group, please send an e-mail to
ipmsymposium at ad.uiuc.edu by Monday, September 19, 2005. Please include the
name of the group, date and time desired, anticipated number of attendees,
and preferred meeting room setup. For an informal conference, please
include a brief proposal. The room rental fees will be covered by the IPM
Symposium. Any food or audio-visual costs will be the responsibility of
the meeting group.
Any space that remains unclaimed before or after the meeting must be
released back to the hotel by October 1. Space during the symposium (in
the evenings) will still be available on a first come, first served basis.
