I am planning one of Brookside Gardens largest special events called
Children's Day in the DC area. It is a free event scheduled for Sunday,
September 21, 2008, 11am -4pm. The theme is "Growing-up Green".  Throughout
the grounds we plan to have activity tents highlighting ideas for children
and presenting living habits helping to preserve the earth and our natural
resources.  We would love to have a speaker or display about pollinators and
the importance of protecting pollinators.  Anyone interested in speaking, or
wants more information about the events, please contact Lynn Richards
directly.
