Hello!  Please see the attached poster for information on our annual
pollination symposium, to be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011. It will be
held at the Harcourt Memorial United Church, located at 87 Dean Ave in
Guelph from 9am - 3:30pm.  Talks will cover such topics as the
current plight of bumble bees, the importance of flies as pollinators,
collecting and sourcing seeds for planting projects, creating sustainable
and pollinator-friendly landscaping and school gardens, the value of native
vs non-native plants for pollinators, ways to get involved as pollinator
stewards in your community, and updates from Pollination Guelph.

Register in advance for $30 (payable in cash at the event) or pay $35 at the
door.  Lunch is included.  Please pre-register by sending an e-mail with the
participant’s name(s) to pollinationguelph at gmail.com.


We will once again be holding a silent auction, and are looking for
donations of goods or certificates related to pollination, pollinators, or
gardening. There will also be space for interested and relevant
organizations to display information on their programs. Please contact
pollinationguelph at gmail.com for more information on how to donate or present
your materials.
