The Senate Agriculture Committee just released its draft of the 2012  Farm 
Bill! It's time to voice your support for farm policy that helps  family 
farmers produce healthy food while sustaining the environment and  supporting 
wildlife.  
NOW  IS THE TIME TO ACT! -- PLEASE CALL OR FAX TODAY

Only  once every 5 years do we have the opportunity to truly transform our  
food and farm system through the federal farm bill. WFA is collaborating  
with the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC) to do just  that 
and we need your help!  
Our 2012 Farm Bill campaign calls for policy reforms to:

- Ensure a sustainable future for U.S. agriculture
-  Protect our natural resources and support healthy communities
-  Promote habitat conservation on farms and ranches
- Ensure that  farmers and ranchers receiving federal funds meet basic 
conservation  requirements on their land
Congress is hard at work crafting the farm bill right now, much will  be 
decided in the coming days and later this spring. The organizations  active in 
the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition are working  together to 
make sure the next farm bill serves the sustainable  agriculture and 
conservation communities.  
Join us! We need you to speak up and help us fight for family farmers  and 
ensure the future of sustainable, organic and wildlife-friendly  
agriculture. Call your Congressional representatives today and ask  them to defend 
conservation and organic programs. Your call or letter is  essential! Please 
make three contacts: one to your Representative, one  to each of your Senators. 

It is easy to call or  write. Please call the Capitol switchboard (202) 
224-3121 and  ask for your Senator's or Representative's office by name*. Once 
they  connect you to the office ask for the legislative aide who covers  
agriculture. If the agriculture aide is unavailable, leave a message  with your 
name, phone number, town or city, and the message below. If  you prefer to 
fax, ask the office for the fax number and send a letter  including your 
mailing address.  
The message to your Senators/Representative is simple:

I am a constituent and I am calling to ask  Senator/Congressmember _______ 
to: support funding for conservation  and organic agriculture programs that 
help [your state's]  farmers.
