Colleagues,


Pheasants  Forever is in the midst of a competition of finalists for a 
$25,000 grant from  the good folks at SportDog that would fund our Youth 
Pollinator Habitat  projects across the country.  These projects will work with 
youth  to establish pollinator habitat projects on state wildlife management 
areas.  The pilot for this innovative program was completed by the Central  
Nebraska QF chapter with 69 third graders from St. Paul, NE this past spring.  
The attached photo shows a group of happy 3rd graders after having  
completed the project.


The grant is  awarded based on votes received from now until November 14th. 
 Please  take a minute to check out the 6 finalists and cast your vote for 
the best  project.....which is the Youth Pollinator Habitat Project.  By 
simply  casting a few votes (one each day would be great!), you can help 
educate youth  about the imporatnce of pollinators and pollinator habitat as well 
as improve  public lands across the country.
