[Pollinator] Snail shell-nesting mason bees

We have Osmia species in the North America that uses snail shells. Attached is a review by Cane, Griswold and Parker on Osmia and nesting substrates. I know we have them here in Missouri. Mike Arduser, formerly of Missouri Dept of Conservation, has raised them.
