1-   Contact Your Governor to Request State Pollinator Week Proclamation

With your help, we hope to reach 100% state participation this year.  Many states require that one of their citizens request events such as Pollinator Week to be officially proclaimed.  Therefore, we ask that you send a Letter to Your Governor <http://cts.vresp.com/c/?PollinatorPartnershi/e21bd41a1b/TEST/08088876ee/utm_content=pollinatorpartner@gmail.com&utm_source=VerticalResponse&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=Letter%20to%20Your%20Governor&utm_campaign=Are%20you%20ready%20for%20Pollinator%20Week%202014%3F>  requesting (s)he proclaim their own state Pollinator Week.

We’ve already received a state proclamation from Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Taking part in Pollinator Week is fun, easy, and will help save the small, but vital pollinators!  Anyone can get involved with the Week: businesses, garden clubs, offices, schools, universities, parks, community groups, museums, families, and individuals are just a few examples of people and organizations planning Pollinator Week events in their local community.
