[Pollinator] Annual John Dwyer Public Lecture (2015)

It is always a pleasure to announce the annual, John Dwyer,Public Lecture
in Biology. Formal letters will be mailed next week but here are the
details.  The Lecture  will be held from 4-5 PM in the auditorium of the
Missouri Botanical Garden on Wednesday, April 22 from 4 - 5 PM.  This is
the day the Garden celebrates Earth Day, as well.  The recipient of the
2015 public lecture is Dr David Roubik of the Smithsonian Tropical Research
Institute.  He will talk about his research on the islands off the coast of
Panama.  After the lecture there will be an autograph session.  Dr Roubik
is a co-author on the new book, "Darwin's Orchids; Then and Now" (2014, U.
of Chicago Press), edited by Drs Retha Edens-Meier and Peter Bernhardt.  We
expect Dr Roubik will also sign some of his older books on tropical bees
(dependent on availability of older copies).
