[Pollinator] Fwd: FW: Bee and spider cohabiting!

The following set of photos were sent to Dr Dan Bickel at the Australian
Museum from bee taxonomist, Dr Ken Walker (bee specialist at the Museum of
Victoria, Melbourne).  For those unfamiliar, Queensland is the tropical,
northland state of Australia.  It's the place tourists go when they want to
visit  The Great Barrier Reef.

Ken wrote...

Here is something new for 2016!  A native leaf cutter bee and a wolf spider
sharing the same underground burrow.


A citizen scientist from Emerald in central Queensland recently took these
amazing photos.  I have asked both bee and spider colleagues nationally and
internationally and no one has ever heard before of such behaviour.
