In this month's Pollinator Habitat Tip, we talk about a key strategy to
increase the wildflower diversity and abundance in established habitat
projects.
This may be one of the most important Pollinator Habitat Tips that we've
produced as most habitat projects tend to experience the natural
successional changes that happen when grasses start to dominate in a project
and reduce the abundance of forb species. This tip will provide some key
and strategic steps that can restore a projects diversity as the stability
between grasses and forbs is put back in balance. A resurgence and
abundance of wildflowers will benefit all kinds of pollinator and wildlife
species.
