Greetings,

Attached is the order form for this years seed shares subscription 
for our upcoming expedition to Peru in late April. 
For those of you who missed this opportunity last year, here is how 
it works- You purchase the seed share now, we collect seed during 
our travels, once we return, we clean, sort and identify the seed, 
we mail out your allotment based on your subscription category. 
This worked out great with our travels in Andean Peru and Bolvia 
last year, and in most cases were able to supply a considerably 
larger number of seed packets. Your purchase of such shares helps 
fund our travels, conservation and ethnobotanical research, and 
continual study of taxonomy, distribution and ethbotany of the 
cactus genus Trichocereus.

This year, we will be covering some familiar ground, visiting 
Matucana again and the Cusco region. New regions to be covered is 
the Cordillera Blanca in the central Andes, an area of high 
biodiversity. We will also be spending time around the 3000 year 
old ruins of Chavin de Huantar.

The new Rare Plant List should mail out by the end of next week. 
Lots of new seed from Chile and collections from Himachel Pradesh 
in the Himalayas of India, as well as some of the remaining 
rarities from our Andean collections last year. If you are not 
subscribed to the List, send $5 for 4 issues or $8 for 8.

Please note CA sales tax rates raise to 8.25% on April 1.
