Greetings!
I've been invited to contribute my ethnobotanical knowledge to a
tour of Southern Baja's unique ecosystems and wondrous flora this
November. Final logistics are being decided upon by the other
guides this week and a very limited number of spaces are available
for those called to join this fantastic journey of discovery.
Here's a chance to experience a cactiphile's dream with Cardon
forests, Bursera (Copal) trees and rare medicinals such as Damiana
in habitat while learning about local plant relations and
contributing to conservation efforts in the region.
Food, in-country transportation and lodging will be included in the
total price for the 6 night journey. The organizers are looking for
feedback regarding interest levels, affordability (pricing) and
lodging facilities - either very affordable rustic lodges in the
nature reserve or a little more expensive beachside hotels.
If you might consider joining us, let me know your thoughts as soon
as possible!
Basic itinerary below.
