1/18/18

Greetings,

After a dry and incendiary Autumn we are finally experiencing some much
needed rain. The creeks are beginning to flow again, the frogs,
salamanders and newts cavorting in celebration of Mother Moisture.

Now is the time to plant in the earth so roots have time drink deep and
grow. Further into this email you will find a list of discounted sale
plants ready for your tender ministrations and eager for planting in the
ground. A few sublime new plant and seed offerings are also listed below
including a bunch of new Trichocereus hybrids.
We recently posted a spectrum of new specimen plant offerings on the lower
half of our homepage ( http://sacredsucculents.com ). These are also
listed further on in this email for your perusal. These are one of a kind
offerings and go fast. We are going to do our best to post a handful of
new specimen plant offerings at the beginning of each month, so check back
regularly.

Our compadre, fellow Andean researcher and frequent travelling companion
Matt Magee is with us in western Sonoma County for a few days. During this
time he is offering private mentor and healing sessions to those
interested. Matt is one of the finest human beings we know and this unique
opportunity to learn from him should not be missed.
http://www.matthewjmagee.com/occidental-sessions-2018/
“This is an invitation to heal and deepen your relations with life through
the use of a healing system that dates back thousands of years to Peru’s
northern coastal Huachuma lineage. This refined and time-tested form of
healing revolves around the use of the “mesa”–a personal altar, which
embodies many forms of natural and energetic medicine. It is designed to
address the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the
self. In essence, the session involves the following core components:
Letting go of the things that are no longer serving you, becoming a vessel
for the natural world, and the flowering of your dormant potentials.”
Matt will also be giving a talk (date and exact location to be announced
shortly): Rebuilding Our Sacred Landscapes–
“The tribal peoples of Peru saw no difference or separation between the
inner and outer landscapes we inhabit.
A harmonious relationship with the natural world was not just seen as an
essential ingredient for maintaining ones physical, emotional, and mental
wellbeing, it was seen as the very source and firmament of it. This brief
talk will explore the indigenous worldview of the many sacred landscapes
we inhabit, including the spaces and relationships we share with one
another.”
Matt just just published the revised edition of his seminal book Peruvian
Shamanism:The Pachakuti Mesa which you can get through -

He also has prints of his original artwork available through-
