9/20/18

Equinox greetings,

Our Trichocereus cacti have been in full bloom to celebrate the changing
of the season. We have new hybrid seed ripening now and more to come over
the next few months.

We wanted to thank all of you who participated in our plant auction
fundraiser last month. We raised enough to cover our basic materials cost
for the much needed greenhouse renovation - which is now underway.
Immersed in the demands of the renovation I’ve fallen a little behind with
email correspondence, so I apologize if I have not responded to a recent
email--I’m juggling a lot right now and will get back to you! I appreciate
your patience. We have about another week of work on the greenhouse to
finish and then will be begin preparing everything for winter.
With these extra projects we are a bit behind with a new Rare Plant List
again...we hope to have this completed and mailed by the end of October.
We have a fairly large offering of new specimen plants this month,
including a few things left over from the auction and a bunch of San Pedro
mutants we had to dig out of old growing beds for the renovation. See
further down the email or the homepage for photos-
http://sacredsucculents.com

Our summer plant sale was scheduled to end tomorrow but since we’ve been
behind in getting these emails out we’ve decided to extend the sale until
the end of the month. Orders must be postmarked by September 30. Again See
further down the email for the sale listing or the homepage.

A listing of new plants and seeds is coming soon!

Thank you for your 20+ years of support!

history as an important food and water source for the tribal people of
South Africa and has contributed over the ages to human survival in the
Kalahari desert. The caudex is eaten fresh, baked like sweet potato and
made into a chunky jam. Easily grown and a favorite among caudiciphiles.
