	           Greetings,
A new Plant Auction Fundraiser has begun and runs until Sunday night.
This is the largest auction we've had in some time and _may_ be the
last one we hold this year.
See partway down our homepage for the auction terms and listings:
www.sacredsucculents.com
Please read the full terms before bidding. _All bids
should be directed to our other email:_ benkamm at monitor.net
The auction closes this Sunday, November 27, at 6:00pm PST. Auction
plants should ship within a week of payment.
Our Specimen Plant List is updated, see
below the auction on the homepage.
Note: We are are not shipping _any_ new retail orders
until spring 2023. You are welcome to place an order now to reserve
plants, just know it will not ship until around April next year. We
are taking time out this winter for essential nursery renovations and
irrigation installation. We greatly appreciate your patience.
We will continue to ship orders from our Specimen Plant List and any
Plant Auctions throughout the winter.
	Other news:

We just learned of the death of another friend who had an
influential role on the direction of our life: Ken Symington passed
away in September at the age of 90. Ken was a Cuban born chemical
engineer and one of the unsung heroes of the entheobotany renaissance
of the 1990s. With Rob Montgomery, Terence McKenna, and Jonathan Ott,
Ken organized progressive educational conferences around the world
including the famous annual gatherings in Palenque, Chiapas,
Mexico--where we first met many fine folks in 1994. We all have Ken
to thank for the beautiful English translation of one of the most
poetic books on Amazonian mythology, plant lore and wizardry: Cesar
Calvo's classic _The Three Halves of Ino Moxo_. Ken was a kind and
radiant soul who encouraged us to follow a green and flower strewn
life path. We were blessed to have known him.

Our sentiments from a couple years back seems appropriate for the
holiday:
There are no words we know that can fully express our deep and
sincere gratitude for your support and enthusiasm over the years. We
would not exist without you. Collectively we have introduced hundreds
of new plants into cultivation, hopefully safeguarding some from
extinction and cultural loss. And of course at the heart of our
gratitude is the plants themselves–we are all truly blessed to be
born of such a fecund world with an astounding diversity of vegetal
wonders to nourish and flourish us.
