The current PLANT MINI-AUCTION FUNDRAISER closes this evening at 6:00
pm PST, Thursday, July 28th.
Due to an unexplained power outage 7/25 to late 7/26 here, we've
extended the auction closure until tonight. This is the first auction
in some time to list Seed--_which is open to international bidders_!
Plants remain for US bidders only.
See partway down our homepage for the auction terms and listings:
www.sacredsucculents.com Please
read the full terms before bidding. _All bids should be directed to
our other email:_ benkamm at monitor.net
We honor the email bids as first come first serve, so if we don’t
respond right away—do not worry, we will honor your bid in the
order/time it was received. Towards the end of the auction can get
hectic and we may not be able to notify you in a timely manner if
you’ve been outbid during this last phase – so the last hour _we
recommend checking the website periodically_ to see the current high
bids. _After the auction closes you will be contacted by email late
evening_ or_ the following morning for the auction plants you have
won_. The winning bids should all be posted on the website no later
than 7:30pm (PST), July 27. We request payment (cash, check, or money
order) be mailed promptly on Friday, July 28 (and any international
winners of seed contact us to arrange payment). We ship your plants
_after_ receiving payment.
Know that auction purchases directly fund current nursery repairs and
renovations as well as our continual research and conservation work.
Our Specimen Plant List has just been further updated this morning,
see just below the auction on the homepage.

We are all feeling the vicissitudes of climate change
lately -- even cacti. Here's a report on the unfortunate effect of the
current extreme temperatures on Saguaro: _Carnegiea gigantea
