Greetings!
I hadn't intended for the long lapse in email, but here we are. Despite
a seeming constant obstacle-course of challenges and thwarted plans this
year, we’re finally making some progress with the crucial nursery
renovations. Still, we have far to go, and with the extreme El Niño
imminent, renovations will dominate the rest of 2026 for us. We must ask
for you to bear with us during our ongoing efforts to revitalize the
nursery. Your patronage and tax-deductible donations continue to be
vital to our endeavors

I will send a fuller email soon, including nursery updates and special
offers for those who have generously contributed to the fundraiser.
For now, a few important announcements --

Botanical Dimensions <http://www.botanicaldimensions.org> is an
organization dedicated to preserving and sharing ethnobotanical
knowledge and plants. Founded by ethnobotanist and artist Kathleen (Kat)
Harrison in 1985, with her then-husband, the late Terence McKenna. As
Director throughout BD’s history, Kat has worked with indigenous peoples
and native plants to generate numerous vital projects in North and South
America. BD works from the deep instinct that the plants can bring some
light to the human/earth dilemma.
(Note: the books on sale are not the core BD Library, they are
duplicates and rarities exclusively offered to support BD’s work.)

Like everything in 2026, the cost of materials for the nursery
renovations has shot up significantly, far higher than my project
estimates last year… we currently need to raise additional funds finish
the first phase of irrigation work throughout the nursery. We can’t do
this without you!
