[Santa Cruz Celtic Slow Sessions] Join us for a session this next Sunday

[Susan Willats]

Hello, Slow Session folks!

If you have no plans for this next Sunday (October 11th), please consider joining me at Community Music School's annual fall fundraiser! We’ll be at Steel Bonnet brewery in Scotts Valley starting at 2pm; the first two hours will feature live music with John Weed, Shelley Phillips, Conall Barber, and others. Then at 4pm, we gather the chairs in a circle for a community session. Bring your instrument and join in!

A huge "pick-your-prize" raffle also awaits – your chance to score tickets to theater and concerts, gift cards to restaurants and bakeries, and one-of-a-kind experiences. An assortment of great beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, as well as snacks. (I'm told that discrete wine drinkers may bring their favorite beverage in opaque water bottles, with no dire consequences.)

Cost: $30 in advance, $35 at the door, $10 for college students and those 18 and under. All proceeds from ticket and food sales go towards funding Community Music School's youth programs, to keep them affordable for local families. Tickets available here. <https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/celtic-at-the-brewery--2026>

I hope to see some of you there. :)
