Dear NAPPC Partners and Friends,

NAPPC/Coevolution Institute represent the Western Hemisphere for the
Pollinators Thematic Network (PTN) of the Inter-American Biodiversity
Information Network (IABIN). The IABIN-PTN will serve as a portal to
databases including pollinator information throughout the Americas
(including links to museum collections, universities, federal agencies,
etc.).

Your help is requested in identifying resources, needs, priorities, and
information gaps for pollinators throughout the Western Hemisphere. The
results of this inquiry will help to guide the development of a
comprehensive pollinator information network, which will be made publically
available online.

If you have not done so already at a NAPPC gathering, please complete our
questionnaire (approximately 20 minutes) and distribute it to your
colleagues and friends. It is available in English, French, Portuguese, and
Spanish translations; and can be completed online or in Microsoft Word
format at:

http://pollinators.iabin.net

The Inter-American Biodiversity Information Network (IABIN) is an initiative
of the countries of the Americas to promote compatible means of collection,
communication, and exchange of biodiversity information relevant to
decision-making and education using the Internet.

Please also forward this request to as many people as you can, as soon as
possible. The deadline for filling out the questionnaire online is MARCH
1, 2007.
