Folks-

USU Extension has published a new fact sheet I’ve written titled “Gardening
and Landscaping Practices for Nesting Native Bees”. This will be a helpful
publication to share with the public, landscapers, landscape architects and
groundskeepers who want to provide attractive nesting sites and materials
to increase populations of native bees. It also reports a way to
non-destructively convince a ground aggregation of bees to abandon a site
(in this case, one slated for sodding with grass). The fact sheet is posted
on the Utah Pests site under the fact sheets link:

For many of you, most of it will be familiar, but you may find it handy
when passing information along to others.

Yours,

Jim Cane
