pollinator habitat for current and future generations. We promote awareness
and understanding of the role of pollinators in achieving local and global
environmental sustainability goals and showcase pollinator projects that
are a model for citizens and communities throughout Canada and
internationally.*
Our Annual Pollination Symposium is on Saturday, April 2, 2016!

*Are pollinators really in decline? What plants are best for attracting
bees and butterflies? How can I get my local government involved? I'm just
one person - can I really make a difference?*

If you have ever asked yourself these questions, or any others related to
pollination and pollinators, then you need to attend our Pollination
Symposium on Saturday, April 2 at Dublin St. United Church in Guelph,
Ontario. Open to the public, this day has something for everyone.

This full day of talks (9am-4pm) will feature a keynote presentation by
Heather Holm, "Attracting Pollinators and Beneficial Insects with Native
Plants", a panel discussion about Monarch butterflies, and additional

The day will also include a period of speed networking, a chance to vote on
the finalists in our photo contest, and information and products about
pollinators and pollination.  *Don't forget to bring your own seeds for our
seed exchange* (donations in lieu of seeds are also accepted for swapping).

The cost is only $40 ($30 students/seniors) if pre-registered by March 27,
or $45 ($35 student/seniors) after March 27 or at the door.  Your
registration fee includes lunch and two breaks.  Pre-register by using the

will be available for sale at the event.  She would be happy to personalize
a copy for you as well.  All proceeds go to Pollination Guelph.

Dublin Street United Church is fully wheelchair accessible, has free
parking, and is located close to public transit.
