Research Entomologist- Pollination Biology and IPPM

The USDA Agricultural Research Service is seeking a permanent, full-time
Entomologist who will be responsible for a multifaced research program,
focusing on critical pollination issues, such as seed production,
pollination of rare plants, and improved pollination of fruit and nut
crops. Research will develop integrated pest and pollinator management
practices in alfalfa seed production to maximize pollination by alkali bees
and determine mechanisms underlying interactions among pollinator species
in pollination.  The successful candidate will join the USDA-ARS-PWA
Pollinating Insect-Biology, Management, Systematics- Research Unit (PIRU)
in Logan, Utah.  The position is advertised at the GS-12 level ($76K
starting salary), includes full government benefits, has promotion
potential to GS-15 (up to $160K), and is open to all U.S. Citizens and
