Cubanabooks es una impresa fundida por una visionaria, Sara Cooper, profesora de Español y Estudios de Gender en Chico State. After a decade of being turned down by one press after another, she decided to start Cubanabooks and publish bilingual editions of works by Cuban women, to bring mutual understanding through art to the U.S.-Cuban dialogue. She has funded this effort out of her own pocket.
