  It   s a big guy, isn   t it ??   Can it connect directly from one port to another?

  I'd say that's pretty compact for thirty ports.

  Like Ian, I deployed and maintained lots and lots of these at dialup ISPs
in the 90s.   They are amazingly good boxes.
