"ps2pdf" was suggested -- it works.   So the answer is that some of them can be converted with Distiller (which seems to be the best answer when it works) and the rest with ps2pdf.   See below for the details.

I just tried uid_v1.0.0.ps with ps2pdf and that produces good output.   I then tried the remaining ones, and from a quick look I'd say they are all good.
