Was not disappointed this morning when I intended to post about the email 
I received from HP over the weekend, and found that someone already had.

I for one would be OK with a nominal $50 USD/year "fee" for 
administration/issuing of hobbyist licenses for any and all equipment that 
a hobbyist may have.   Not $50 per license per year though ...

Here's hoping VSI has something good up their sleeve (I have not read all 
of the messages yet in my inbox ....).   Right, wrong, or indifferent, the 
alternative will be *ahem* ... "tools".   Not that I want to go that 
route, but if there is no alternative and I want to keep my real/emulated 
hardware "up" and not just sell it all .... I'll have no choice.
