TL;DR: sorry Johnny, now you have to add 31.42 XXXV, SimH VAX-11/780, 
VMS 3.5 DECnet-VAX V3.0 but Phase-IV, to the node database :)

Paul's commands nudged something into sanity.

For those who grabbed my experimental tarball from dropbox, this is all 
we needed to do (long version below).

Now ... what do we do about vaxvms 3.0 with NETACP from 3.5?

Whoa! No complaints, and a "Maximum Area" characteristic got added!
