The Orbit. The Gift

The orbit cast a deep winter 
breath through the trillions of 
tons of debris and 
for all the billions of years.

Ask the towhees how they stay
dry in rainy months. Ask a
bear about the last dawn before
the hibernation. Ask a rainbow trout 
how to protect their fry from the 
brown trout in the hungry fall. 
Ask a granite slab how to
endure the cracking as ice 
presses down in hard winter. 

Curious minds orbit with their 
wonderings. Curiosity is my gift.
To give and receive. In a simple orbit, 
sauntering along with the trillions.
