Some Riches Are Not An Embarrassment 

The overflow of Treasure
in this life I erroneously
call mine

stuns me with its brilliance
when I’m awakened
enough to see.

Each friendship pours
a stream of golden elixir
into this pool of joys and cares

that flushes the little “I” fish
out of shadows
like a Sun that’s
suddenly risen.
 
Isn’t this dance the slow
mastering of the rhythms
that lead to glory
