Pollinator Curriculum Available NOW!
The NAPPC Pollinator Partnership pollinator curriculum for children is now
available online!
The direct link for "Nature's Partners: Pollinators, Plants and You" is
_http://www.nappc.org/curriculum/_ (http://www.nappc.org/curriculum/)
Here is another way to access it: Go to _http://www.pollinator.org/_
(http://www.pollinator.org/) if you click on "Useful Resources" and then look under
the heading "Education." It is listed as "Nature's Partners: A Comprehensive
Curriculum, etc."
It is also available on the pollinator.org homepage near the bottom
right-hand corner under "Contact Us."
And on _http://www.nappc.org/_ (http://www.nappc.org/) , the curriculum is
available on the homepage under "Featured News," (a photo will be forthcoming)!
This incredible effort is the result of SEVERAL years of work on the part of
a variety of NAPPC partners who have worked tirelessly and unselfishly to make
this happen - - and to have it made available to anyone who can use it.
The package has been tested in informal learning circumstances from 4-H Clubs
to Corporate Educational outreach programs.
There are two people who made ENORMOUS contributions to this project and need
to be recognized: First, Ella R. Madsen who started this project while at UC
Davis. That was two years of effort. Then she attempted to quietly slip into
retirement and was enticed to return for two+ more years of service on this
project!
The second person who truly made this happen was Suzanne DeJohn of the
National Gardening Association. She breathed life into this project with her
creative designs, illustrations and organization. Suzanne has made this a complete
package and engaged the National gardening Association in offering companion
pieces to the curriculum.
There is no way to properly thank both of these conservation leaders for the
incredible job they have done. Compliments to them will be forwarded!
In addition, there are many people to thank for this curriculum and they can
be found on the acknowledgments page where all contributors are listed:

Please let me know if we have left anyone off! - (_LDA at coevolution.org_
(mailto:LDA at coevolution.org) ) Thank you to everyone who was involved and also
those who will be involved going forward.
The most important thank you for everyone who worked tirelessly on this is to
see this WIDELY IN USE! Please feel free to forward the links to any
resource you have who could utilize this material -- or who would like to build a
program starting in National Pollinator Week (June 24-30, 2007) or ANY time!
We also welcome FEEDBACK and new ideas for handouts, modules and improvements
- just send them to _KM at coevolution.org_ (mailto:KM at coevolution.org) . We
hope to continuously improve this.
Thank you and congratulations!
