I bet you didn't know it is National Pollinator Week, let alone that 
Pittsboro is hosting a celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

You can learn how to become a beekeeper, tour the cooperative 
extension's new pollinator garden at Chatham Mills and watch beekeepers 
work a hive. There is even a pollinator-themed scavenger hunt for the 
children. The event is on the lawn at Chatham Mills, 480 Hillsboro 
Street, Pittsboro.
