Subject: Media coverage of pear pollination  event
Hi  Antoinette, 
I'm attaching  here just a few sample from the several national and local 
Korean language  newspaper articles about Ambassador Stephens volunteering to 
manually  pollinate pear blossoms, highlighting the decline in pollinator  
populations.  None of the English language papers carried the stories,  but 
our Public Affairs Section summarized and translated one of the Korean  
language articles.  I'm attaching that English summary, one of the Korean  
articles, and a couple few more photos from other Korean articles.  The  event 
was really a good success on many levels.  For sure it raised  awareness in 
Korean about the diminishing populations of  pollinators.
