Subject: IPI report to the CBD - #AGPME
Dear Colleagues,
As you may know, we assemble a report back to the Convention on Biological
Diversity on the progress in implementation of the Plan of Action of the
International Pollinators Initiative, and submit this as an information
document to the Conference of Parties of the convention, held every two years.
We attach, for your information and dissemination amongst your
pollinator-related list serves and networks, the report submitted in time for the COP
XI meeting in October 2012 in Hyderabad.
We welcome your contributions and notifications of findings or initiatives
that may be relevant in the next report (for 2014), recognizing that the
International Pollinator Initiative is not “owned” by any of us, but rather
is the sum total of what many committed people, around the world, are
doing to support pollinators and pollination. Please do send on to us
anything you believe may be relevant, over the next 1.5 years.
With warmest wishes for the holidays,
Best,
Barbara
