[Pollinator] FW: New Seed Calculator for Creating Affordable Seed Mixes

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have a new seed mix calculator for the Great Plains and Midwest that allows you to develop your own pollinator seed mixes. Please see Pete’s note below and give this a try!

 

 

 

The version of the Seed Calculator that is attached can be shared with anyone that you like.  It is designed to allow people to build a mixture from scratch with their specific goals and objectives in mind.  If providing great pollinator habitat is a goal (and who wouldn’t want that!!), this tool will really help people build the best possible options.  

 

With over 250 species to select from, anyone in the Great Plains and Midwest should have some great options that weren’t available to them before.  If you look through the file, it contains some good guidance that should help get more and better pollinator habitat on the landscape.
